| I have several years experience, I say several, because I have always cooked! It has been my passion for all my life. My father was a cook my brother, a well seasoned veteran of the food business and my mother a wonderful cook, my grandmother had a canteen business..... Everybody cooked! Then in my own housekeeping business and a part-time server in a very successful catering business, I gained knowledge and slowly carved out my own niche. I began cooking for my private clients then adding on other services. From assisting the client in choosing the perfect menu and defining their vision for their special occasion, to delivering delectable foods, presented in a beautiful setting created just for them. It didn't take long at all before my own catering business flourished into a full time occupation. Being born and raised in South Florida to a Cuban family, Floribbean cuisine came naturally to me. Floribbean is a collaboration of the flavors and cuisine of the Caribbean, the deep south, Brazil, and other South and Central American countries that have left their culinary mark in the history of Florida. Floribbean cuisine puts great emphasis on very fresh ingredients, complex spices, and fresh fruit juices, especially citrus. I am also accomplished in Mediterranean, Pacific Rim, and a variety of ethnic cuisines. Cooking is my passion! |
